Worst experience ever
Bought a hoodie essential from GOAT, but did not fit well so I decided to resell it. I only tried it once and the tag is still on and was never worn. They sent it back saying there’s an issue with the sale because of odor. Which is definitely not an issue. They ended up charging me $25 on my credit card for shipping and order issues. What a SCAM.
Buyer issue
Every attempt to sell merch has failed.
The future of reselling
I’ve been using this app since it released. First off, this is literally the future of sneaker reselling. You can buy a shoe from Goat and have it stored on your alias account without ever physically having the shoe. Then you can resell it when the price goes up. I’ve done this plenty of times on different shoes. The fact that I can buy and item and sell it without having it shipped saved lots of time & fees. Don’t get me started on the price tracking of shoes. You can track the price history of shoes to get an idea on whether a shoe if going up or does, just like stocks. Don’t let the reviews scare you away, yeah I’ve had a few problems here and there, but they always get resolved… even if it takes a while, they’ll fix whatever issue you have with your order. It’s a big company and mistakes a bound to happen.
bad experience selling
I sold a pair of used Louis Vuitton trainer.
bought on (Louis Vuitton store inside neiman marcus). Few days later I got an alert from the app saying I got and issue with the shoe authenticity.
And they said my shoes is a Replica and ended paying $15 shipping so basically i lost money.
Because this people got incompetent employees.
⚠️ DO NOT USE THIS APP ⚠️
I almost risked being scammed by this app before i read all the shady reviews. Apparently Alias uses shady tactics to try and hassle money out of you such as poor authenticity checks just to charge you when sending your shoes back, lying about or using known product details such as saying a damaged box which was clearly stated as damaged is damaged (obviously) after reviewing and trying to force discounts and more. There was even a case where a seller stated that he/she sold a pair of shoes on the app to which they were denied and sent back in a completely different unauthentic box then ignored all their emails about it. Everyone should stay away from this app and legal action should be taken against it.
Cannot delete bank info even if you no longer use the app
Account disabled because identity cannot be re-verified (old address no longer available). Requested customer service to help re-verify - denied. Requested account deletion - denied. You don't have the right to record my bank information while denying me access to your app.
Great app to buy/sell
Quick easy payouts
Better to sell on other platforms
All the negative reviews are true. They will ship back any item for any little factory flaw, box scuff or even normal shoe aging. Better to take your business to other greater platforms.
INCOMPETENT
STAY AWAY FROM ALIAS. I had a pair of shoes that sold on their platform and shipped out to them just after the 72 hour ship window. The system auto cancels the order eventhough it shipped to them. After receiving the shoes they charged me the $10 fine for the canceled order as well as the $14.50 to have the shoes shipped back to me. Only problem is the shoes never got shipped back to me. After asking for tracking for the past month I just keep getting the run around from their customer service team. They still have not given me an answer as to where my sneakers are. Sounds like they have lost them and no one over there wants to admit it. No accountability and no answers. They basically stole my shoes. I have all the emails and receipts of the charges as proof. I would stay away from ALIAS AT ALL COSTS. THEY WILL STEAL YOUR SNEAKERS.
Lost a lot of money selling
I’ve been selling in this platform I sell sneakers and clothing and I have shipped sneakers and it’s all good but when I ship out some clothing it always magically gets lost in transit I have lost over a grant using this app and the support team is really bad and always I contact .The support team they say they cannot help me or give me my payout because supposedly they haven’t received their package and the tracking marks it was delivered.
Do not sell clothing on this app you’re gonna lose a lot of money.
