Allbetter: Hire A Contractor

Very disappointed. This is a great concept, but they don’t seem to be any actual professionals providing services in my area. I posted three different jobs, and only one provider a submitted a proposal for any of them. My cleaning job was 1 hour/ week and a provider with zero experience, reviews, supplies, or equipment but plenty of bad attitude immediately demanded $70. No introduction, no conversation, no questions. I think she was a child. Waste of time.

I liked the idea of their business, giving immediate help easy to make happen. But once the app malfunctioned before letting me pay the housekeeper, the customer service didn’t respond in an amount of time that I felt was appropriate to let her go unpaid, I paid her, and requested the job be canceled. THE APP CHARGED ME ANYWAYS EVEN AFTER A PHONE CONVERSATION AND EMAILS WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE. They won’t retract the charge. Now that’s bad business!

Save yourself time - don’t bother to download it. I could not even sign on - probably a bunch of scammers created this app.

I am GC. One of my guys couldn’t come to a last minute job and someone recommend I used this app. And I did. And was impressed by how quick and fast I got in touch with Steve. I will absolutely use this again. For guys like me that always need sub contractors this game changer.

I was sharing info about my project and the app cold stopped working. It does not open, but the contractor is still trying to chat. He does not know that the app will NOT allow me to communicate with him-argh… I finally thought that I found the right person to do the job. The app needs to improve.

There is no explanation of how the company is backing/ guaranteeing the work of the contractors that bid. When you chat with contractors who has submitted the bid they give little to no information about their company or other information. If this app has to work, it should reveal the details of the contractors bidding , provide a formal contract of how the app will guarantee the quality of work and list out the process of how to file a non satisfactory claim - this will build legitimacy and trust in the app and it’s process . Will remain for the app to be mature .

When I needed help with a customer and cleaning up a big mess, I looked everywhere and like magic, Chore Relief was there. They were efficient and effective, making sure I was comfortable and taken care of. They have terrific customer service. I am excited to use them again.

I used this app once and it was a great experience. It was actually in the middle of moving in to a new house with a 1year old son in the middle of COVID 19 and I wanted everything to be cleaned up very fast. The person who came was very professional, very clean and very fast even beyond my expectations. He brought all the equipments he needed also. So happy with ChoreRelief and will definitely use their service in future.

I made a mistake and hired the wrong person for a housekeeping job. Chat with your IDs to make sure they are comfortable with the job you’re asking for. Hire the right person for the right job. Thank you CR for helping me quickly.

I recently hired a contractor to do some work at our new office and we found such a great contractor in a matter of minutes. The app was so easy to navigate with and I love how they don’t make you enter your Payment info upfront either until you accept a job.
