No light!
It’s absurd that when the app doesn’t work my driveway has no Light It is so dangerous. And no resource to help. None. The app simply is not picking up the transformer. Out of nowhere. And now I’m stuck with no driveway lights.

Our company installs Alliance transformers, and we use the WiFi smart plug to expand capabilities as the Bluetooth transformers have such a short range. In my experience, this is a reliable app for clients with a reliable WiFi connection and one or two transformers. Our clients typically set their lighting once and then rarely make changes since there is already a built in astronomical clock to adjust for seasonal daylight hours - if you’re wanting to make frequent changes, you’ll probably find that you need to refresh the WiFi from time to time to reestablish connection. That can cause some frustration, and I hope the developer is working on a fix.
The app is very basic and does an ok job with the basic light controls. But it will constantly forget my WiFi info. Even through the multiple WiFi updates this app has had. Every time I open the app I have to hope it remembered my WiFi. Speaking of WiFi, the app should give an option for a default connection. The app defaults and prefers Bluetooth, which is slow and frustrating. Just let me use WiFi only like all my other smart-home devices!
I have the transformer connected to the app via Bluetooth. I’ve also set up the Wi-Fi connection and no matter what I try, I cannot get one of the preset programs to turn on. I can turn my lights on manually if I hit the power button in the app, but they will not turn on automatically per the program as it’s supposed to.
We are installing our landscape lighting using the IT Pro transformer. We had a very difficult time setting up the second transformer. I have many different lighting and Smart WiFi apps and I find this app to be terrible at adding a device, especially the second device. Upon setting up a new account, the icon just keeps on spinning — very frustrating!
I install low voltage lighting so I’m using Alliance transformers all the time. The app is handy for setting up clients systems and getting the app transferred over to them. Can we please get a back button? I don’t want to close the app when I have to switch to a different transformer. Another good feature would be allowing longer transformer names. I can make the zone names as long as I want but Residence 2 doesn’t cut it for me when my list of transformers is long
