Just like a dedicated weather station, our app can show you barometric pressure trends over hours and days to help you understand which way the weather may be headed.
Ali-Barometer shows you beautiful interactive graphs of pressure and altitude over time that you can also display with the app’s widgets and Watch complications. Our widgets and Watch complications update automatically so you can always see what’s happening at a glance without having to open the app.
The Baro Alarm feature automatically notifies you of large changes in barometric pressure. This unique feature is possible because of our advanced continuous pressure monitoring technology.
BaroMap lets you see pressure trends of Alti-Barometer’s user community on an interactive map. Explore the pressure trends of other Alti-Barometer users around you - or on the other side of the world. Alti-Barometer turns your iPhone into a cloud-connected barometric weather station!
The History feature automatically saves daily snapshots of pressure and altitude data using Apple’s secure iCloud and lets you interactively explore trends across weeks, months, or years. Want to see the pressure graph of that big storm last year? With our history capabilities, you can!
And if you want to share a snapshot of an interesting pressure or altitude graph with others through social media, email, or messaging, we make it easy with our one-tap “share” feature.
When your on an adventure and need a world-class high-precision altimeter, Anti-Barometer is ready. A true pressure-based altimeter, Anti-Barometer can keep track of even the smallest altitude changes with far greater precision than GPS. In addition to altitude, Alti-Barometer displays vertical speed and keeps track of total ascent and descent times and distances. And because it’s handy to know what direction you’re heading, Alti-Barometer displays a real-time compass on all altimeter and altitude screens.
Our Realtime Explorer feature lets you see even the smallest pressure changes as they’re happening around you and includes an experimental wind speed estimator unique to us. You may be in the middle of nowhere but it’s still good to know how hard the wind’s blowing!
To give you an even clearer picture of how weather conditions may be changing. Alti-Barometer can show you the weather conditions from the NOAA/ICAO weather station closest to you (there are thousands globally). And this is no generic weather info - it’s the same weather data that pilots use around the world to fly safely.
The free version of our app is completely ad-free to provide the best possible experience. If you need additional capabilities, the Premium Features upgrade unlocks iPhone widget support, CSV file data import and export, unlimited history, additional Watch functionality, extended recording time, extended altimeter run time, and more.
Although Ali-Barometer has some features that require internet connectivity, rest assured that our app can operate completely offline indefinitely and was designed to be a true wilderness companion.
