I LOVE this game 😍😍😍

This game is both addictive and creative at the same time! I love the biomes and challenges that come with them. The weather feature is even more magical, and it has a mind of its own! I really don’t get what the hate is about. This is the first Alto game I have played, so I didn’t play the first one, but I love the oddessy. Good game

Great, but with some bugs that interfere with gameplay

This game is one of the first games that I downloaded on my phone. I was immediately blown away by the soundtrack, graphics, and simple controls. I’ve been playing it since it came out, and have reached the top 1% in the point total and combo multiplier areas. I love playing the game, and it is the only blue game that I feel is worth playing after you finish some important milestone or completion beyond other Alto products. That said, I have been experiencing a bug where the lemur glitches of the ground sometimes and is not consistently touching the surface realistically, i.e running inter a grind before the game corrects itself as the lemur drifts back into place. Also, when the ground leaves the screen from a steep hill or other phenomena and the lemur catches up to me, the lemur appears in the air. One time when this happened, the lemur actually knocked me off my board. I am aware of this mechanic, but I would love to see this bug fixed so I don’t have to worry about it anymore. Also, I would love to see more attention payed to the game, as it has a lot more potential. Even moderately sized updates would be nice. Again, this game is amazing and I love its simple quality. I would love to see what team Alto does next, if anything at all. Thanks for reading this review, devs.

My data from Alto’s odyssey is not transferring and I don’t know why.

Fun

This game has a classic arcade feel of jumping and flipping over things with smooth gameplay and gorgeous graphics. The game itself is pretty relaxing. The only complaint is it gets repetitive but not a huge problem since I can sit it down and pick it back up a few months later. I kinda wish there were more drastically different scenes though.

Not bad

I love the game and I’ve enjoyed playing. I just wish the cost of travel wasn’t 1,000 coin. That would make traveling back to the lost city a lot easier to complete the large number of those challenges. I get that it’s supposed to be a bit more complicated to keep you hooked but it’s slightly annoying I have to pay so much to travel back to the lost city and you kind of fly thought that part of the map.

Cheat?to get final persona?

I can’t stand playing this anymore to get the final figure person whatever her name is I just wanted to end and be a little bit more interesting than the city perhaps a dirigible or a party at the end or perhaps, depending on your choice of sex you get to be with a princess or if female then a prince, or at least some kind of congratulations for wasting immense amounts of time to get to the very end?CHEAT ALLOW ME TO CHEAT AND BE DONE!….HA….. otherwise a very fun game for a while…. I suggest being able to land in a balloon basket and sail upwards into some kind of cloud party or something anything really to add a finality……

My first game

This was the first game I played when I first got an electronic device. And the only complaint I have is that when you’re listening to music, it automatically turns off when you get into the game. But otherwise, a amazing game.

A wonderful made game!

I had to stop in the middle of my game to write a review because of how beautiful this game is. This game checks the box for everyone. The beauty and detail with the perfect relaxing music in the background make the game stand out from others. I seriously can not believe how relaxing this is even without the zen mode. I would really love to see more updates and maybe different variation of music and/or a new area! Please take this into consideration because I will be playing this game for a while. Such a wonderful work of art.

Fine, but underwhelming and inferior to the original.

Alto’s Adventure was one of the first games I ever played and god what an adventure it was. Beautiful landscapes, incredible gameplay, and deep contemplative beautiful soundtracks. Odyssey does not live up to this. Even with the addition of the lost city as a part of this game being on the arcade, odyssey still lacks a certain authenticity and atmosphere intrinsic to the first game. Namely the soundtrack is not nearly as touching or well done as the first game’s was. Odyssey’s soundtrack is perfectly fine to listen to while playing the game, but I would never listen to it alone, compared to Adventure’s soundtrack which I would enjoy simply sitting down and listening to. In terms of gameplay little changes between Adventure and Odyssey. Wall riding and other elements like pool dives are nice, but appear far too little to add that much to your gameplay experience. Especially since wall riding rarely appears, if at all, outside of the canyon lands. All this being said, there are some upsides to the game. Namely, the new biomes add variety to the terrain and gameplay, and while the scenery isn’t as nice as the original, it’s still pretty to look at. Overall, this sequel is much of the same and worth getting if you’ve not played the original game, but if you have this game will be less of an experience than the original and therefore is not worth getting.

Worst game ever

This game is just like alto’s adventure, but worse, here’s a few reasons why. 1. Chasms The chasms are really annoying, sometimes they are very wide and the character doesn’t have enough speed to get across the chasm, this is also why I purchased the wingsuit a while back, because the chasms are almost impossible to get over because the character is too slow to get across the chasm 2. Prices need to lowered in the workshop You need to lower the prices for some of the stuff in the workshop, for example, the helmets cost 1500 coins, that’s too expensive for just a one time use items, lower the price for helmets to 500 coins instead, nextly it costs 3000 coins to get a chasm rescue, that too expensive to, lower the price for chasm rescues to 1000 coins instead, in alto’s adventure, if you own tupa, you can get a free chasm rescue in each run 3. Pause button The pause button at the bottom of the screen is just annoying, every time I try to do backflips, I end up touching the pause button, it would be nice if the pause button was at the top of the screen instead 4. The backflips are just the worst The characters backflip so freaking slowly, Alto and Paz are probably the worst characters ever, they backflip soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo freaking slow, please increase the speed of Alto and Paz’s backflips 5. The goals The goals are stupid and sometimes almost impossible to complete, I’m on level 42 and I’m stuck on this one goal that says “do 10 wall jumps in one run” I don’t know what a wall jump is Therefore if you are thinking about getting this game or even the paid version of this game, go download another game through Apple Arcade, this game isn’t worth your Apple Arcade subscription, trust me, there is other games through Apple Arcade.
