Amazon Fire TV

Please make this work for initial setup of your fire stick if it's connected to ethernet so you're not dependent on having a working remote (since their quality is so poor). I have an ethernet adapter which I connected to my factory reset fire stick and the remote app discovered it and I could connect to it. However you still can't get past the first "press home button" step. Pressing the home button in the app does nothing.

1. I cant change volume • solution: volume buttons 2. I cant see all the buttons on screen, need to use the slider •on the of the screen its just empty space. If you move the phone controller up on the scrren would make place for the 3 last buttons 3. Touch pad? •I have no clue if it would work but something Or just throw the controller away... the produkt would be cheeper and the controller is really basic. Like i only use my phone or game controller

I only “try” to use this app when I can’t find my remote, but I don’t know why I even bother. I rarely can even get it to connect to my tv.

I really don’t feel like ordering a new remote, this app never fails me. I’m used to using it from my phone now

I like to use my VPN in order to use most apps and your telling me I have to turn it off in order to work a remote when that’s never been the case before? Weird.

This app is the worst. My boyfriend and I both have it and if we are in bed trying to use it, only one of us can have our phones open and on. Then it will reconnect or reconnect reconnect. It’s so annoying.

I un downloaded the app because it wouldn’t work and I re downloaded and I see it’s updated. Literally the only thing I see is enter the 4 digit code on from my tv and there’s no code on my tv!! Luckily I have the old version on my iPad but who knows how long that will last. Please fix the app. This was the only app that worked for my fire tv and now it’s completely unusable.

Disappointing

The app worked well for me until the recent update. Now it has trouble finding my fire devices which makes it a bit hard to use the remote and other features. Please fix this!

The new layout is terrible for the user. All you did was make it harder on the user to use the controls…
