Issues since the 2.0 update
I use this app for long periods (a few hours at least). Before the update, I used to simply set the animation and it would work basically forever until I stop it.
Now, after the update, the animation stops after a certain time, I’m not sure how long, maybe 30 minutes or less. The app window is usually frozen, and then I have to reopen the app to set the animation again.
I’m often listening to music/ambient sounds when this happens, and now, scenes that don’t have a soundtrack cause the music from other apps to stop.

At the new current pricing they want us to pay $3 a week to use the app, $47 for a year. The app is worth $10 for lifetime. Charge to upgrade fine but don’t try to siphon my $ ‘s constantly. Stop software rental.

Spent a lot of Money on Credits
I just bought 24 credits for animations and suddenly I was logged out from my account. Then, when I logged in again, all my animations have disappeared!
I tried to restore my purchases but nothing works! I tried to buy smth again but somehow there are no credits anymore and it’s subscription only.
Very disappointed for wasting money on nothing! I need a full refund!
App access in my kids’ phones
I have signed up for the app on my phone to try it on the Philips Hue lights in their rooms. My kids love it and would like to use this app on their phones however it appears it will only work from my phone even if they log in with my credentials. I am not paying $50 to give both my kids access to this app so how do I share access to this app with my kids and only pay the $25 annual fee once?
Great Ap
This is a great ap! There is another popular ap with lots of animations but truth be told most of then a gimmicky and not able to be used regularly as almost all its animations mix in very harsh and jarring colours at some point. Thus app is the most livable by far.
I would like to see more brighter medium speed animations in soft and light colours for everyday use but I can make do with the ones available.
Also the ability to pause and freeze the current colours would nice as would away to arrange the animations so your favourites could be first.

This is an app that should use ads to drive it not a recurring revenue model.

Intuitive app, responsive dev
I have tried most of the Hue apps in the iOS app store. This one is better than the rest with its slick interface, great presets, and intuitive design. Love the ones with sound as well as lights and look forward to more (rain, perhaps). The native Hue app is getting better, but this one makes up for what it lacks. Well done.
