Assumes everyone goes to bed by 11:30 pm - you can’t schedule waking time beyond that. Moving scheduled times on phone screen or wall screen with your fingertips is clumsy - would be easier with a website and a mouse like Nest and Ecobee. Wish the screensaver showed the time or if the full screen appeared if you walked nearby.
I like the app but I wish the app. would mirror exactly what I can see on the wall unit. What I see on the app is perhaps 25% of what is on the wall unit.
Had been frustrated that usage was not included for my high end inverter unit. AS sent me a personal email following up from a year ago to tell me they added usage to the app and it works great. Love they added this and show that kind of communication.
The app keeps showing the wrong temperature settings based on the schedule I have running. I try to set temps manually and it keeps reverting to, what I’m guessing is, an old schedule. Having to manually override on the thermometer itself.
Connects some times but mostly not
For an AC system that is supposed to be high-tech and top-of-the-line, I’m extremely disappointed that it doesn’t support Apple home integration. The mobile app lags, is buggy and at times does not retain my updates. Furthermore, I spent tens of thousands of dollars on a new HVAC system and the manufacturer can’t even outline and publish for the public what enhancements, updates and new features are released when firmware updates occur. I would LOVE to speak with someone about this. IF TRANE A.K.A. AMERICAN STANDARD IS GOING TO ADVERTISE THIS AS TOP-OF-THE-LINE, THEN IT SHOULD BE TOP-OF-THE-LINE. The link platform (UX360 thermostat) has a lot to be desired.
Only the first 4 sounds are working on the app now after the latest update the rest of them keep errors out
This has been my favorite thermostat since it came on the market, the app makes it incredibly easy to use, it has a lot of options as far as duel fuel, heat pump and furnace, scheduling, once programmed it is incredibly easy to use, even programming is not that difficult
Please consider improving the history metrics. Run time in hours and minutes rather than tenths of an hour. Adjustable vertical scale. The app should be able to do everything the screen of the thermostat can do.
