One of the most poorly coded apps I’m forced to use
Clearly the entire IoT integration was an afterthought, built by low budget 3rd party developers to support another 3rd party, no-name manufactured motor controllers (Amp? Who is that?) The updates are buggy (the last update messed up daylight savings time adjustment. -Wow), and they seem to require deleting and re-pairing of the controller hub after the update Net: AMP App is beyond awful. A new level of frustration from a truly subpar application written by neophyte programmers Pairing the hub is painful, hub pairing mode times out before you have enough time to connect to its unique Wi-Fi After pairing, the app asks to update the hub. The hub becomes unresponsive and you are forced to delete and then repair the hub Adding rooms does not actually add rooms to the app room list. You can add a room as many time as you want, but the “Room” screen never populates Adding shades and other devices is difficult as well. You need to essentially pair the app to the remote (or worse, to the individual motors) due to the rolling code system used. A good system should enable the identical ion of devices from the hub after pairing itself The app simply refuses to pair with any of my remotes. I guess it’s time to drag out the ladder and try pairing every single shade motor by hand
