This is the worst app ever. The list of reasons is too long to relate.

TAPS seems to have an antagonistic relationship with the campus and surrounding community. This app is just a reflection of that. We used to have an app that worked just fine. But the new one removed functionality and has a terrible interface. And why is there no more hourly parking available?!

Need to add Apple Pay support.

Multiple times I have purchased daily parking passes through this app that have not been recorded and I get a ticket. I get to the confirmation page and pay, and then later in the day there is mysteriously no record of the pass being bought and I have a parking ticket on my car. This is not ok! Was this dysfunctional app developed just for UC Davis? It’s defective!

App needs to add a photo of the plate on the account. Don’t be like me and enter in the plate wrong by typing V instead of B and getting a ticket that they won’t appeal….

Interface is clunky with poor UX design. It glitches constantly and has cost me money paying for the different vehicle than I selected. The service went down for days because of their poor security practices that allowed anonymous access to CC transactions. They needlessly send PII to third parties and support for fixing of this has been pretty nonexistent. Can’t wait for UC Davis for move on from this trash.

Take a trip to 1999 with this app that is wildly underdeveloped. Rolling the dice with not paying for parking because to manually type a credit card number in 2024? Nah. Peace and love!

This app will not open. When it did “work,” I had to delete and redownload this app every time. Students shouldn’t be punished for a faulty app/system. @UC Davis Come up with a better parking solution please.

The app is wildly unstable. The only way I can get it to work is if – every time I park - I delete the app and download a new copy on my phone. I think it must be the most poorly functioning app I have ever been required to use. I wonder what they do all day over at AMP Park?

This app has a very unfortunate feature of consistently crashing, sometimes doesn’t even recognizing the payment. Thus, getting a ticket even if I paid. Don’t be too creative for making money, don’t realize management efficiency in university parking, just make it reasonable. Due to the app being such a misery, I can promise that the willingness to pay has decreased significantly. Currently mine is those of zero.
