Test on many Chargers
Hi,
I want to ask how this app works and why i have tried many chargers 5w, 10w, 2 different 20w and a 15w wireless charger
but i got strange results like:
apple 5w : ~4w
powerbank 10w : ~4w
apple 20w : ~12w
ugreen 20w : ~6w
no branded wireless charger 15w : ~6w
want to know if it’s the app’s fault not reading the correct wattage or i don’t know what is it ?
i would be thankful if you can answer what’s the reason..
regards.
Works As Described
Not sure what all the negative reviews are talking about. The app works exactly as described if you follow the instructions. Yes there are ads in the free version but they are skippable. Also the developer is very responsive in responding to negative reviews with a personalized message addressing the specifics brought up in the review. You can read those and see. It’s unfortunate that starting with iOS 10 Apple removed the ability for apps to access battery info. That’s not the fault of app developers.
Worst charging app I’ve ever seen
Takes over 10 minutes to run what should take 10 seconds. It was so distracting I wish I could delete it from my account history entirely.
Plus it has ads, you can’t sleep the phone while it’s running, and while it’s testing it keeps popping up these moronic little phrases.
Do yourself a favor and find a more refined app.
Just plays adverts and tells you it’s almost done
This is an advert jukebox. It keeps saying almost there almost done 1 more percent then it’s better to run the test a few times. If you ever switch apps it cancels with no results. If you close the advert too soon it cancels with no results. I let it run for 10 minutes just to test it and no results. The app just plays ads and makes excuses until you remove it
Inaccurate, unskippable ads
Reported five watts on numerous high speed chargers into my iPhone SE. Gave up when I got to an ad I couldn’t close to return to the app.
Not accurate
Battery charging optimization turned off on iPhone 14 pro max. This app shows 19.7 watts on a 30w charger, 9.7 watts on a 20 watt charger, and 3.2 watts on a 5 watt charger.
Great for testing cables, and chargers
App does what is supposed to do.
I took one star off due to ads being so obnoxious and taking over the screen with no way to dismiss them, making the app unusable until I paid to remove them.
I’m usually fine with the trial version of an app having ads that I did pay to remove once I decide I like the app. But with this app, I couldn’t even test drive the app without removing the ads first as they take over the entire screen with loud sound, and I had to force quit the app to get back to the main screen. So I just blindly paid for the app before I even knew if I wanted to not.
Testing takes 10-15 minutes
No one has time to wait 10-15 minutes to find out how fast they are charging
False readings
It says my charger is slow and only 5w when it's one if the best ones out there. It literally charges my phone in less than 1hr and it calls it a slow wireless charger.. But on my crappy car charger, it reads it at 10w. Seriously I believe this is a scam app just to get ad revenue.
