Amperes - battery charge info

As I was doing the first test on my iPhone XR with the 18w charger that I got from my iPad Pro the meter reads a wattage of 27.87w. It was impossible for the charger to deliver such wattage, as it only capable of delivering 18w, let alone the loss in the power transmission process. I was expecting a number like 15w so it makes sense.

Gives users insight to the inner workings of the battery charging system and allows performance testing of chargers and cables. A great tool!

I find this App to be most useful.

I have many charging leads, some from Apple and some bought on eBay. I suspected a few of them gave poor charging performance. I ran them all on this app and found huge differences in charging rates. I have kept the best ones. Thanks for such a great App!

This app measures the battery charge accurately and is useful when comparing charging capabilities.

Does not accurately show charging amps into phone. Not accurate in slightest. Uses a timer to see how long your battery percentage changes? As accurate as measuring wind speed by licking your finger. Gave it two stars cause it’s cheap. Was only more waste of time then money

This is a very handy app for checking chargers,at least that's what I use it for.

Developer ONLY tells you after purchase that Apple has greatly reduced their ability to perform metrics on your devices battery. So you get nothing, while they already have your money.

I have found the app great at testing wireless charging, but with a few issues. Others have mentioned that when testing, you get no indication how far along the testing is. In addition, after clicking start., it can take awhile (enough to charge 5%) before the test actually starts running. Lastly, it’s really important when comparing chargers to test them at the same battery % on the phone (since iPhones charge slower at higher %). There is a timer function to alert you when the battery hits a certain % to account for this. Unfortunately when I set mine at 30%, it alerts me at 26%. Not so helpful.
