Amperes Battery Charging Lite

All the bad reviews regarding ads are probably impatient people who don’t read instructions. The instructions could be a little more clear when you run a test, but if you read carefully it tells you a video will play so you can run tests ad free AFTER you watch an ad. This is no different than 90% of the free to use apps out there that have in-app ads. There is also a pretty clear visual warning stating that times will differ based on what iOS you are on as well. App works as expected and gave a decent analysis of wattage.

During the first test the screen was taken over by a predatory ad that tries to deceive you into thinking it’s part of the app. There was no apparent way to close it so I just uninstalled the app. 🤷

More interest in generating ad revenue than information. Ads are difficult to close. You think you’re closing an ad and instead taken to a screen where can but the product or service.

As soon as I open the app it’s a ad that I can’t tell is really a add until my bank calls me telling me it’s porn and dating escorts. Yeah if you want to wait in new debit cards and be a victim of fraud. Luckily both banks caught it.

I wanted to see what the amps are when charging the battery but that's not possible in this app. Why give a name that does not correspond to the real?

It would be great if this app can show real-time charging value like AccuBattery instead of testing charge speed every time

Measures the time it takes to charge your battery 2% and then divides that by 2. If you’re on a meh charger, that can take a long time. Different measurements if the the phone is locked, vs when the phone is unlocked and open on the app screen, running the ads and test. App says you can’t close out of it or it will stop the test.

I’m a bit obsessive about battery charging for some reason. For years I’ve had this app installed on multiple iPhones I’ve owned, and I’ve also tested it against external USB amp meters/readers/trackers. I’ve compared different cables/chargers and usb plugs using this app, android phones, android apps, and my external USB amp meter. I’ve read through a few dozen reviews here, along with the developers responses, and I understand the app enough to know that the developer has solid truthful positions in every response. Occasionally I’ve experienced some inaccuracies but normally there’s a reason for whatever error might have occurred, and usually another test will show a more accurate result. Overall I do recommend this app and I will continue to use it obsessively!!

I can not find how to use it

I have an app on my other phone called Ampere by Braintrapp that measures amperes of the battery within seconds. This takes over 10 minutes! It seems that far superior app is only available on Android devices. Now I’m starting to realize just how pathetic iOS apps can be. I guess I’ll have to use the iPhone I have just for making videos and taking pictures. The apps for their operating system is just getting worse and worse. Deleted this app immediately.
