Analog Retro Camera: Film Lab

At LAST I’ve found a proper “in camera” app that lets you choose your settings and when taking photos taking them with the chosen settings - no post editing necessary, but also possible if wanted. Many useful settings, wonderful filters. This will be THE app for taking those snap-shot memories, instant, effective and beautiful. I’ve got two wishes for the developers to get my rare five-stars rating, this is a ⭐️⭐️⭐️ 1/2: - make it possible to take the in camera shots in the original camera resolution, more than the provided 1920x1080 HD option as max - make it possible to turn off the faded edges in the “main” filters settings ie. 60’s, Noir, Vibrant etc. All in all my new favourite for those pics I do not have time to post-edit, I do that enough and too much as I work as a graphic designer 😅

The app itself is great and easy to use. Only minor issues are costs for any other filters other than black and white and 80s retro which are free.

I really love this app. The filters look authentic and it’s really cool that you are able to tweak the settings for your own personalized look. I would give 5 stars if the (horizontal) landscape option for the VHS date was fixed. I can see the option for horizontal date text, but it doesn’t let me change the dates position.

I love this app as far as the edits in the app. However, when I save the edited image, the image quality does not stick. Will this be fixed?

There’s so many vintage photo editing apps, but this one has the edge. It’s definitely in my top three vintage editing apps, and I really recommend it! The developers have made it so easy to edit—in a few taps and slides, you have a perfect vintage picture. BUT WAIT—you can edit video! That was the biggest selling point for me, as there’s not many video editing apps that work as smoothly as this. My mind is blown! 😱

I’ve had this app for a long time and don’t have any issues with editing. I decided to buy it and use all of the extras that are available. I’ve recently tried using it again on my iPad for a picture and before I even get to the photo of choice, it crashes...but it doesn’t do this on my iPhone...I tried deleting it and re downloaded it and I’m still having the same problem...hope someone can contact me about the issues...then I’d change the review 😔

great application, you pay $ 3.99 and the best of this app is duplicated, I wish there was a version for Macbooks

Could have sworn I payed the 3.99 for the full version but once I re opened it it prompted me to buy pro again. Upon pressing “restore purchase” the loading wheel comes up saying “restoring” but doesn’t really do anything. I know it’s only $4 but why should I have to pay again if I already payed?

Good app, great tools. Unprofessional transaction practices. My insensitive to buy pro tools/filters is indefinitely gone due to sneakily charging my bank account. Even after I ended the trial to try pro options.
