Animated 3D Knots

For someone new to knots like me it’s a great little app. Really easy to follow and really informative. Has a really good range of knots for all different applications and the straightforward animations make following it really easy. Brilliant

I have used knots since my Scouting days and especially as a scout leader. I wish I had access to this app then! The app is easy to use and comprehensive enough for most applications. An explanation of the difference between knots and hitches would be good, together with showing the whipping being tightened.

The multi-stage animations (which can be sped up or slowed down in the settings) are perfect to help learn the knots in the app. For some reason the app's name on my phones Home screen is Origami and not Knots though.

For a free app, this is great. Shows many important knots and brief histories, as well as clear instructions on how to tie them.

I like the simple way it shows each move, I hope to use this in teaching children

This app has plenty of knots to learn, just not the one I was looking for. It would be brilliant if they could add a Quick Release knot, which you tie horses up with. Otherwise, good app which would be very handy!

Very handy app to have! As not all knots can be memorised! Very good step by step guide with diagram as well!

I'm so impressed and you will be too! If you want to learn knots, then this app is an invaluable godsend. It's one thing learning from books as I was; watching someone's show you as you look over their shoulder is better - but this is better still! Animated. Clear. Easy tI follow! Get this. Learn easy! It's very easy to follow got lots off useful knots.
