Antietam Battle App

It can be hard to turn some cornfields and pavement into a battlefield; this app does a great job. Very interesting to follow along.

This app is filled with knowledge on this war which helped me get a great grade in my assessment

My fiancé and I used this app for our trip to Gettysburg last year and it was perfect! Got us to unknown spots and memorials. Never gave misleading or wrong directions. In fact it led us to the area where the first shot was fired and actual defensive positions. Will be using this for our upcoming trip to Antietam.

Great resource for touring the battlefields without a guide. Especially liked the 3-d camera viewfinder to orient yourself. With this and a battlefield podcast you're all set.

Very useful app overall, I just wish you had all of these battles in one app

I used this app on site on a recent visit to the Antietam battlefield. The app is extremely well designed and has lots of layered information about the battle. The recordings of the letters written by soldiers from the bring a sense of reality as you stand in the same spots that they fought and died. The field glasses work with the GPS on your phone and help explain the scope of the battle. An excellent app.

I have all of the Civil War battle apps that have been introduced, starting with Gettysburg. This Antietam app is the best I think. I have not visited Sharpsburg although I plan to this year, yet I feel like I am on the battlefield with this app. It is fantastic. The narrative gives just the basics, which is fine, but the graphics are superb. Great job!
