Apollo for Reddit

I understand having a paid tier to support the developer, but locking a core reddit feature like submitting a post behind a paywall is simply ridiculous. I never understood the hype behind this client and now I’m sure I won’t be using it.

It's much better than the official app, so happy that the protest helped me learn about Apollo!

It will sadly shutdown on 1st of July because Reddit is a greedy company. It was one of the first apps I installed when I bought my iPhone a year ago. I will never use the native mobile Reddit app as it is full of ads and scrolling there is so much less fun.

Since I discovered Apollo, I don't even use Reddit on desktop. The only acceptable way is Apollo. You cannot go back once get used to it.

Great app, great developer.

Good app overall with nice sharing capabilities. The main issue is the back to Subreddits issue thats forces me back to the sub-reddits lists and need to scroll down. Also incidentally tapping around the clock is scrolling to the top and lose my time scrolling back.

Няма база за сравнение дори с официалното приложение. Постоянно се обновява с все повече нови и интересни неща. Единствения проблем е, че прави скролването прекалено пристрастяващо.

As a Reddit/Apollo addict by now, I can confirm that this client is definitely made for the best user experience. No ads to clutter your feed, gestures that make life easier and customisability to your liking (some features are part of the Pro pack, which is worth it in my opinion). You can tell the person behind this has put a lot of thought into it, strongly recommend this app.

I love the features and the design there are a few things that require getting used to but at the end of the day this is the best reddit app put there.
