Trolls Who Give An App A 2 Star Rating Based on Spelling Errors in The Copy...
... are obviously clueless with just how daunting learning and expressing yourself in a foreign language can be. I’m going out on a limb and risk looking like an idiot but after looking at your last name Mr Very Talented Developer, I feel fairly confident you didn’t grow up watching Sesame Street and the Electric Company... at least not American English Versions. As both a marketing copywriter and someone who at age 50 decided to become bilingual I know how frustratingly difficult, embarrassing and sometimes awkward to the brink of humiliating learning a second language can be. Oops, so one error slipped through, that’s AMAZING since considering you are a programmer/coder (again assuming) you are probably likely fluent in several app and script coding languages as well. Criticizing is such an easy way to sound important when you know you aren’t. I’d like to see that reviewers attempt at coding and developing an app HA! ABOUT THE APP! KUDOS AND BRAVO!!!! I usually expect these kinds of apps to be buggy and difficult. When I see a developer plug features like “Easy Set-up” I snicker and think “Easy for who?” but my friend you were spot on! I now smile smugly at all those who mocked me for having a utility drawer full of obsolete phones, from old Primeco and OmniPoint phones, a 1st gen iPhone, Star-Tacs, Razrs, Androids... even a Dell Pocket PC and Sony Clie most of which are useful and repurposed as clandestine watchful eyes throughout my home. It took about 15 minutes to configure 6 phones as hidden cameras. Everything worked perfectly on the first try. I had a little problem with the old iPhone but I’m sure it’s the phones aging hardware and not your app. Simple, Straight Forward, Worked on First Try with each device, even my laptop cam. I’m sure old USB webcams would probably work too. With all the angles and views I have, I’m inspired to do some movies and have the professional look of switching from various camera angles in a scene! Thank you! I’m tempted to review twice because I think you deserve 10 stars! Clarification Update: In my gushing I didn’t mean to make it sound like I was running all 6 cameras at once. The old iPhone relic actually doesn’t like QR codes but every Android and QR ready old phone works great. ONE SUGGESTION for a premium feature or an upgrade - make the motion sensor more intelligent so it can discern the difference between blowing curtains, shadows cast my waving branches and restless Irish Setters with separation anxiety.
