Flow does not drain battery and does not need to run in the background to actively track your activities. In fact, Flow will show your activity summary for the past 7 days as soon as you start using it.

Flow will automatically detect your sleep duration and times, with no need for user input. Simply place your phone on the bedside table when you go to sleep and pick it up when you wake in the morning.
Flow will also automatically track your Walking and Running activities, displaying the number of steps you take throughout the day.

Flow requires iPhone 5s as it uses M7 motion co-processor. Flow will not work correctly on older iPhones, iPads or iPod Touch.
