Compass

It used to work. I opened it after long time. I do not have magnetic case and my location is ON but for some reason it just isn’t working. The white needle is stuck on north and there is a small ring around needle? I’ve found nothing useful in google. I do not know how to make this work so it’s 0 star for me

Your app is not working on my ios 14 pro max. I uninstall it.

I see some negative reviews but it works perfectly on my iPhone 13 and the magnetic fastener on my ‘Torro’ case does not affect it. It works whether my phone is laid flat or held vertical so its good in the car holder. It also indicates your location and elevation. Other compasses I have tried often require calibration (by walking a figure of 8 and such) but this compass does not. I’m fine with it. You can set it (in the phone Settings) to show either magnetic north or true north.

It’s a great simple compass. I go sailing and this compass app layout is standard, every 30degs. 🤗 Maybe add key compass points on an upgrade sometime.

For some reason East and West have swapped, the Sun apparently rises in the West according to this compass

This app needs checking as the readings appear to be reversed.

The app used to work and it helps, but now the app only stuck at the longitude and latitude of the location/country im at. Not helpful at all

There are a lot of reviews saying the compass is not working. I had this problem and it was due to having a phone case with a magnetic closure. As soon as I took the phone out of the case, the compass worked perfectly. Try this before you dismiss the app or dis the phone. The compass app works very well when not interfered with cases made by people who don’t think about the implications of having a magnetic clip on a device that uses magnets to function. Doh!

This use to good when it was working properly. The compass use to move around but now it’s stuck and doesn’t move at all. RUBBISH. WAMT TO DELETE!😕

Don’t even consider this for navigation. Is regularly 180-45 degrees out. Despite recalibrating and reinstalling it is dreadful unreliable.
