【What is the Japan Cultural Expo?】
Organized by the Agency for Cultural Affairs and the Japan Arts Council, the Expo proudly presents art exhibitions, stage performances, and cultural arts festivals as a means of sharing, both domestically and abroad, various embodiments of "The Beauty of Japan."
The Virtual Japan Cultural Expo is a cultural experience in an interactive, digital space that is being held online as a result of current restrictions to international travel.
Our goal is to combine "real" and "virtual" experiences in an innovative and engaging form.

■Area composition
Main square
The first event area visited when entering the Virtual Japan Cultural Expo. An elliptical display space with a large monitor at its center has been prepared. It is intended for holding live streams and other events.
Water Museum
A building-shaped display area with a large monitor on its roof. Each room will have its own theme and display content relating to it.

Forest Village
A lush display area located inside an expansive forest and interspersed with content. The contents can be viewed while strolling along the paths.

Wood Art Theater
A three-story display area that brings the texture of wood to life. The virtual medium allows for diverse methods of display.
