Awesome but Needs Improvement
This is the first time I am actually taking the time to write a review - reason being that this game is very well made and I really would like to encourage and support the developers in their creative journey. Here is the breakdown: • The gameplay is awesome. It is a superbly well-thought out game. You can tell that the developers really put their hearts and souls into creating this game. The design is beautiful and elegant, the side scrolling game style is quite an interesting experience. It is simple to understand and play. The adventure is sprinkled with exploring places and encountering dangers along the way. There are enough of those to keep you playing for hours. So far, I really like this game and had a lot of fun playing it. There are however, certain areas the developers can improve on. Based on the few days that I have been playing this game, here are my suggestions: • First:- There should be a *Save Game Function* after completing the different maps/levels. Especially so for the “Normal” and “Hard” stages. Whilst I understand that is a survival game, developers must also bear in mind that we as real humans, have other obligations in the real world. Full time gaming may sound enticing, but unfortunately, it may not be applicable to the majority. This said, it is frustrating to have to keep replaying from the first map/ level 1 every time the character dies. After repeating the same maps a few times and being unable to advance to a new map because dying brings you back to the start, it gets boring and annoying. Frankly, it makes me just want to stop playing the game altogether. It is just not fun any more. REPETITION TAKES THE FUN OUT OF THE GAME. A *Save Game Function* after every map allows the player to start at the map they died in instead of going back to the first level. This actually makes the game more enjoyable and keeps our interests going. Perhaps the die and start from the beginning can be applied to just the Insane stage itself. • Second:- The prying style of the mystery boxes are very fun. I am very impressed that the developers thought of this. It makes the game even more fun and interesting. Successfully prying open a mystery box gives you the chance to obtain certain useful objects. However, the moving speed of the prying bar is too fast. Some boxes are okay, but there are some that are too fast. Maybe I am just too old and slow, but perhaps for the Normal and Hard stages, the speed can be slower. Of course there is stil
