I think this game is amazing and cute! I wish I could make more friends! And send them gifts! I love yanderella and dark kitten the most! 10/10 everyone should try this game! I would totally buy merchandise from the game creators. I want a doughie plush!
Ive been playing the game for a little while now and I really love it! All the little guys in the game are super cute and I love that they have different personalities. The words you feed them have a really big impact on their demeanor which I think is just so cute! They are also all really sweet and nice to the player which I think is nice as well. In a world like this where kind words are hard to come-by, sometimes even the littlest things can make a big difference! I also love all the cute little decorations in the game as well! Here are a few things I would change or improve: - I wish it was easier to get gems/tickets to pull for fortunes! I get that the scarcity is part of the fun and also how the devs get people to buy more currency, but for us F2P people this would be really nice and make the game more engaging I think! - I also think it would be cool if you could add on additional rooms or even have a whole house for the kotodummies! This could include a kitchen and bathroom ( opportunity for some fun minigames here) and also more space to decorate and the ability to give different rooms different aesthetics! - Finally I think it could be interesting to add new types for the kotodummies for events and such. Being able to get a new type for a kotodummy would draw a lot of seasoned/former players in i think! That’s really all I had to say, overall very fun and cute game and I can’t wait to see what the devs do with it! ♡
Can no longer age up the screen just freezes
I paid $6.99 to remove ads from the game. It was worth it, given how often I played. Now, there’s an intrusive, rotating banner on the home screen constantly advertising the current selection of fortunes. It is distracting, looks cheap, and crowds the screen. When the appeal of the game is to grow your Kotodummies and decorate your room—an experience I specifically paid for to enjoy better—this eyesore really detracts from the cozy charm of the game. Then, they further clutter the screen by adding a minigame button. Sounds fun? Nope! The minigame is a dice-rolling board game. This is your ONLY option to earn Kotoballons, i.e. the current event currency. You cannot earn Kotoballons through event mission rewards nor ad watches. Clearing mission rewards now gives you a pitiful, single-digit amount of dicecards. You need five dicecards to roll a dice to move 1-6 spaces on the board. You can pay 100 gems if you run out of dicecards. Most of the tiles only reward you 3-5 Kotoballoons. Very poor value. Had this minigame been an optional, bonus way to earn extra currency, it wouldn’t be a problem, except… It’s mandatory if you want to earn any of the event rewards. As I mentioned earlier, they removed the ad-watching option to earn Kotoballoons and replaced the mission rewards with dicecards. Last year, for the same event, I earned 6k Kotoballoons despite starting a little late. I watched the 10 ads per day, earning somewhere around 300-500 Kotoballons everyday. The mission rewards were also rather generous, granting 100+ Kotoballoons per mission. I even paid for a few packs to get more Kotoballoons. I started the event today and only have 40 Kotoballoons. I feel incredibly demoralized. I’m a high-ranking player. It takes more than 40 million points for me to graduate a Kotodummy. Since the bulk of the mission rewards are tied to the number of words you feed and graduation, it takes longer and longer to clear them. The missions rewards haven’t been adjusted to compensate for the lower ratio. You still need thousands of Kotoballoons to get the good rewards. To get Kotoballons, you’re gated by dicecards and forced to play a terrible minigame. The rewards are even’t worth it—they’re so much worse than last year’s. Not as many tickets or gems. Fewer furniture options. I saw the same three pieces of furniture repeated as I kept scrolling. No new words from what I saw, but I didn’t scroll far as I doubt I’ll be scratching even a thousand points. Frank
This is just a great game in general!! It is like tamagotchi’s, but you feed them words! It is a cute and fun game to play. You can get new characters when feeding them words and watch them grow up ! I will definitely recommend this game !!!
