Card Diary - Journal, Diary

First off, let me say that I’ve never kept a journal. So I tried the new Journal app from Apple and it didn’t seem to be working so I started looking for an alternative. The one that stood out was Day One but it was $50 bucks a year, so I continued looking and stumbled across Card Diary. I can’t compare it to Day One but it does what I want from it. I can capture my events on a given day with text and photos. There is a search feature that will likely come in handy in the future when I have a bunch of entries. It syncs between my iPhone and iPad too. All this forever for a one time purchase of $13! ONE MINOR COMPLAINT? I purchased the $13 premium on the iPad thinking that it would be for both the iPad & the iPhone (as is often the case) but the iPhone app wants another $13 for the premium features. I thought “restore purchase” would have worked but it did not. I searched high and low for a way to contact the developer to no avail. I am hopeful that the developer will read this and offer an explanation. In spite of this I am quite happy with my first foray into journaling.

A nearly perfect app that will allow you to keep a simple, minimalist visual diary/journal on a daily basis. There are myriad ways to customize various settings, and I’m hopeful future updates will make it even better. Try out the free version; but, it’s also worth the Lifetime Upgrade.

I sure hope you keep supporting this app! I don’t like subscriptions but I would not mind - to pay for added features in the future - even with my lifetime purchase - as a great developer needs to be supported for it’s work! Cheers, Peter

昨日より突然アプリが開けなくなってしまったのでアップデートよろしくお願い致します。普段から手軽に日記がつけられるため重宝しています。アプリが重くなり過ぎる点以外は概ね満足して使っています。

Nice and simple right from the get-go.

J'adore le concept. Sa me permet de revivre les moments de ma journée et de profiter une 2ieme fois. Le temps passe tellement vite! Je me sent comme quand j étais petit, ayant mon journal intime. J'ai l'impression de faire ma mémoire qui pourra rester pour mes enfants, petits-enfants. J'adore Bravo! Pour l'instant je prend le mode gratuit. Il se peut que je passe en mode pro. Je suis content d'avoir un bel éventail accessible pour le gratuit.
