Body Size - Track & Measure

honestly a pretty good app :) it’s simple and it tells you some extra info like body type and your fat percentage.

Just trying the app. I already feel restricted on the inability to customize it for me. Would love the ability to remove things I don’t wish to track.

Before BodySize, my fitness journey was a bit like deciphering hieroglyphics on a treadmill. Measurements? Sure, I had them. Understanding them? Not so much. This app has transformed my workouts by calculating a lot of stats for me based on my measurements giving me a better picture of my overall fitness. I decided to write the review because they have added a feature I waited for for a long time - automatic somatotype calculation! No more squinting at charts or feeling lost in a sea of numbers. They cracked the code on my genetic blueprint, revealing how much I'm an ectomorph, mesomorph and endomorph. Knowing my somato I can better figure the best workouts for me as well as diet. BodySize isn't just an app, it's a power-up for your fitness journey. It's turned confusion into clarity, measurements into insights, and guesswork into confident progress.

For the past couple of years i have struggled with eating disorders, anorexia, bulimia, and binge eating disorder, ect ect. These deeply impacted my physical and mental health, in the last year I have been attending therapy for past trauma, and in this therapy I learned that you can love your body without “liking” it. Once I learned to love my body I started getting into fitness. Since I loved my body, I knew I was overweight and needed to change it. Over the past couple months I have tried hundereds of diets and apps, but none of them really showed me my specific ratios and patterns my body went through. I quiet literally tried hundereds of apps, some free, but most with a trial that limited my knowledge and held me back from greater results. At one point I managed to get 15 pounds down, this was a huge accomplishment considering i had never seen the scale move. While the scale moved down my mental heath did too. On a random day filled with insecurity after I gained all the weigh back, I downloaded some more apps, once I tried this one, I was amazed. I was shown my biorhythm, my body type and body water, how my measurements affected my health, and the details on how some measurements are less or more affective in certain areas. I have now been using this app for a few months, the scale has not moved down, but I have lost SIX inches off my waist, and have less than two to go. I am so thankful for this app, it has helped me lose lots of fat without dieting or a gym, just because I understood my body. Would 10/10 recommend this to another person, and have had no issues with the app.

Start using this app a while back, so far all good and works well. Practically everything is free, the only paid feature is adding over 3 custom measurements. I would really love to have some trends added to the app, and would be great to see history of my monitors. For example, as I working out I would love to see how my BMI has changed.
