SmileReader-Ovulation tracker

Only got this app because the pregnancy/ovulation strips I got recommended it. The picture feature does not work well at all. Constantly getting the ‘Take picture in better lighting’ error, no matter how I have it positioned or how much light is around. When placing test strips into the red box on the packaging for the camera to even be able to detect the test, the app still cannot recognize the test line - it keeps counting the control line as my results. There are better apps out there to track ovulation and for pregnancy test tracking. Don’t waste your time on this one!

With the new update you have to hold your phone too close to the test stick, so it makes the image too dark to obtain properly. Even in a night room with how close the phone camera has to be now, it creates dark showing. You have to use another light to illuminate the test stick properly and even with this additional light it still creates shadows which cause inaccurate readings. Hoping this issue gets resolved, before this issue is app was great. I got pregnant my first cycle tracking with this app 2 years ago.

App needs an update because you can’t upload your pictures right away. I give zero stars to this app 👎🏼

I downloaded this app because the ovulation tests I bought recommended it. Tried to take a picture of a very clear and well lit ovulation test (With 2 clear lines) but apparently it did not fit in the borders and could not read it. Stood there for a while trying different angles, lighting, movement of the camera and decided I will just use my eyes instead. Maybe if this was fixed it would be a nice way to keep up with tests and know when I’m peaking instead of putting a bunch of peed on tests into a notebook but oh well….

But the app wont read any strips. Keeps giving me an error. And the strip it did read one time it said I was at my peak when the line wasn’t dark at all. So definitely wasn’t a peak. So now I have to send the strips back to Amazon because they don’t work! I just want to be able to test and take a pic! Fix it asap

It read the first few times I used it then like most of the other reviews it stopped working and says it can’t read the test. I deleted and redownloaded it several times to try and get it working again but it doesn’t work at all.

I bought the test strips from Amazon through the app it self and the camera says it can’t read the test strips this was a waste of money and now I will try and find another app

It used to be fine but lately the app is having hard time reading the result which is very frustrating.

Every picture I take it says “cannot read line, or picture is blurry.” When there are clearly 2 lines, the picture isn’t blurry at all and is within the picture frame. Takes me at least 5 minutes to get a picture it can read and is extremely frustrating. Not using this app ever again.

Honestly I really liked these test strips at first but then they changed the test strips then the app was updated and now it’s really bad like can’t even take a picture of the test keeps saying it’s out of focus. The test strips keep giving me a light line and I got a positive on another test. I’m definitely not buying these again they are horrible now
