I’ve tried several apps, this one is the best.
App for photography is really based on personal needs. Personally I am not a professional photographer like those in National Geography magazines. Photoshoot is just my hobby and learn over time with my NIKON F4, NIKON D90 and now my iPhone 7. I always edit most photo to correct some lightning, noises and HDR (manually). Adobe Lightroom is my favourite on my desktop PC/MAC but these days, I am mobile and I don’t really spend as much time sitting at home edit photo. I need something on the go, there is Adobe Lightroom app on iOS but I really do not feel and justify enough to pay $10 USD monthly subscription. It sucks Adobe kill of all the standalone applications. Polarr is my saviour, $30 USD unlock all on iOS app sounds expensive but it is still better than paying monthly or a insane triple digits price applications. I know they can do so much more than a $30 app but again like I said at the beginning, base on what I need. Polarr is fantastic, works well with my workspace NIKON SD card lightning dongle import to my iPhone 7 then edit on Polarr. For the moment JPG mode is the only way until Polarr improve support on NEF RAW files. I’ve read up some review, not a cash cow app. It is buy what you need and what you get. You can pay for all tools except filters if you never going to use filters since you can do them manually with the tools. This is options for people, you are not forced to pay full $30 unlock all price unless you want to support the dev.
