Ruined with the ads!
It was a good app to use, very convenient, regardless of the interface. But now, it takes 30 seconds just to open and app and then have to close the ad every second time I open the app. Very annoying!
Gets the job done, but poorly designed
I was looking for a reliable machine translating app that would translate from English to Cantonese. This app gets the job done but the app interface is super confusing and half of it is in Chinese. I don’t know why Chinese companies can never design user interfaces properly, especially when they have to do it in English or any other foreign language like Spanish or Arabic. If this app was designed by a company based in any other country, these problems would not occur. Also, I’m guessing that the company is not even going to read the reviews in English because they don’t know English. I’m really looking forward to the day when I’m fluent in Chinese so I don’t have to deal with this. My message to everyone: LEARN CHINESE!
Was good before, not anymore…
It was good at the start, but now it’s unusable. I don’t know why but it keeps saying “no text detected” even when the text is clearly there. I hope it’s just a temporary bug.
Mistakenly updated app, now cannot translate images via copy-share option anymore
Before the newest update, all I had to do with an image was click Share-Open in Baidu Translator, now after this update nothing happens except a small popup after every attempt saying ‘updated for you’. The app was so convenient before this, I didn’t have to fill my library with unneeded images just to translate them, just had to share it to Baidu Translate. Please fix this glitch

Sometimes confusing
Sometimes when I translate Chinese to English, it just doesn’t make any sense so I can’t really get my Chinese work done but that’s just how it works. I don’t think it’s gonna get fixed because it’s already fixed but the translation and everything else is really good
