Extremely helpful
I guess this app is no longer supported. Last update was 5 years ago (I am writing this in March, 2023.) that is unfortunate. I kept checking back, once it turned into nothing more than old-school links. It used to be great app. ———— I find this app tobe visually pleasing - great GUI. The lists, reviews and articles have been extremely informative and useful.

It comes down to available space on my device. In the Apps gone free section, which for me is the most valuable part, too many apps are free for too short a time. I can't check this every hour. So rather than daily disappointments I choose to delete this app.
No NOTIFICATIONS!! (was: The Perfect App!)
UPDATE 2019-02-03: This is still a GREAT app! A great app that makes amazing use of the wide landscape screen of an iPad, far better than most other competing apps. Truly a visual stunner! Sadly, I NEVER use it. Why do I never use it? I never use it because the publishers NEVER issue NOTIFICATIONS. NOTIFICATIONS remind us to open the app and read its latest articles. Moreover, if we are not reminded to read those latest articles, then those wonderful articles never get shared by us. If we don’t share those articles, then we cannot help drive traffic to AppAdvice. Finally, if we don’t drive traffic to AppAdvice, then AppAdvice is foregoing the advertising revenue that such traffic could generate. Why does AppAdvice want to shoot itself in the foot by not issuing daily NOTIFICATIONS of their latest articles so that it can earn more money? My once five-star rating is now reduced to THREE (3) STARS. The moment NOTIFICATIONS start back up, I’ll immediately raise the rating back to five stars. ORIGINAL REVIEW: The perfect app!

I keep getting a message "Oops, try again later" The original worked fine.
Not Fully Working Again - nice new layout tho!
Nov 2016 - The Apps Gone Free link doesn't work. Click on it and get an "oops page" saying try again later (which of course doesn't work). Tried reinstall, downgrade to previous version etc, all no go. Thankfully still had old copy of Apps Gone Free app (no longer available on Appstore), and it still works and shows the daily Apps Gone Free. The new page layout and format in this latest version certainly looks nice tho! Will be 5 Stars again once it's all fixed. ---- Hey, whatever was wrong they fixed it. App working fine now. (Feb 17, 2016) No more blank pages or app saying "Could not find...." etc. Great to have it back! Thanks Devs!

This app sounded promising, but good grief it's slow! This app is 95% the letter "a" loading loading loading.
