New bug: Turning off subtitles then using the 10 second rewind button will turn subtitles on again. Very annoying

Having discovered just some of the excellent series and movies available I’ve cancelled a couple of other streaming services I’d signed up to.

Half movie no sound waste

Your mindfulness turns on automatically when watching something, and you used to be able to turn it off by catching the pull down notification and clicking on the X. That doesn’t work anymore. So I pull down on the control centre and click off the mindfulness and it turns itself on about 2 seconds later, every single time. It’s driving me crazy. Your Report a Problem isn’t working either. Please fix!

Why is there no Google Cast function/option? What if the customer is staying at hotel, has only the Apple TV app and can only enjoy it on a mobile only? So stupid. Waste of time having the app

as of writing this I am unable to lock my screen in landscape mode, a simple and frankly necessary part of any smartphone streaming app, and my movie was exited out of twice against my will. once asking me to turn on notifications (i guess theyd like to let me know if any movies are trying to contact me!?) and once asking me to rate the app. well let me oblige you Apple TV. 2 stars

What they have as part of the subscription is very limited, some even look “ok”. Almost everything good you have to pay extra, on top of your paid subscription at horrendous costs. There is no value for money here. I’m thinking of cancelling the free subscription because it’s not worth the money …..

It charges more than advertised. For example, a movie I purchased was advertised at $9.99 but charged my card almost $30.00! I’ve realised this has happened with all of my Apple purchases including my subscription. I am going to cancel my subscription and delete the app. There is no way to contact Apple TV to have this money reimbursed. I’ve paid three times the advertised amount on all purchases. Disappointing.
