I bought this product many a while ago. I have used this app for shooting and reloading. As the functionality is OK i have to give it a poor rating due to complete data loss after installing updates. All cartridges, trajectories completely gone. It happend first a good while ago and i brushed it away as a mishap and something that would never occur again. But when i opened the app the last time sadly discovered that all data had been erased again after my last update.
I have the iPhone(6s+) version. Lots of bugs. Been communicating with AB support staff. I have described the bugs and errors. AB promised to fix in latest update(feb,2016). Still many of the same bugs. Tried several times to reinstall the app, found out the web-sync doesn't work as well. Lost all info on all my bullets, only my rifles were sync'ed. I really love the app and it's userfriendlyness, but I need everything to work as promised. I hunt and shoot a LOT and need to rely on the app. I'm now considering to uninstall the app permanently as I'm about to loose my patience! Sorry!
I got a new phone and re downloaded the app. As last time I got a new phone, it transferred over. I lost all my data for my department rifles and personal rifles. Also, dope was off for Remington 700, 308.
I can’t believe this app has been updated in the last 12 years. It’s very flunky to use. I’d recommend using anything else.
Only a handful of reticles to choose from, most of which are from March. Only 2 different reticles for vortex. Zero for Burris, primary arms, etc. very limited ammo data too. Many of the free apps have more info than this.
Not for beginners. You just need to learn the ballistics basis, own a good chronograph and you should be able to make it to 1000+ yards with good ammo. It’s not always 100% accurate with factory ammo, but that’s understandable and once you make the right corrections, it’s good to go. A must have for long range shooters if you want to save yourself bunch of wasted ammo just trying to get on paper.
Seriously, the UI looks like something from the dial up internet era and very unintuitive UX.

I expect more from the guys at AB. The UI is soso, swiping is not intuitive to make edits or open up options. Typically a “…” would make more sense to open options. Hitting the “share” icon to open up and manage options at the Home Screen is also not very well done. And lastly and perhaps the biggest issue is the fact that this DOES NOT connect to a Kestrel AT ALL! Geo Ballistics is far better designed and user friendly than this. The firing solutions aren’t ABs but they are good enough.
A piece of sh..t, outdated, not accurate, spent $30 for nothing
