This easy-to-use app gives children the ability to read books from American Reading at Home, the award-winning, school-based program that has been teacher-vetted, parent-approved, and kid-tested in thousands of schools and homes across America.
PLEASE NOTE: Requires an American Reading at Home account (for individuals) or SchoolPace subscription (for schools).
Our books are specially designed for children learning to read at the Kindergarten and first-grade reading levels. The books work just like training wheels on a bicycle. A child will gain confidence by using books at the “just right” level of challenge; as he/she develops new skills, the “training wheels” are gradually removed. Because so much of the reading support is provided by the actual books, children can do much of the learning on their own. This provides the child with tremendous confidence and a sense of ownership of their own learning. It also makes learning to read fun and enjoyable!

How do you get more books on better levels
There are some bugs with iOS 14
Sometime the page stocked in two page model.
App stopped working after latest update
Books do not load after you select them. The app closes and goes home. Please fix.

Nested collections have made it a lot easier to find what I needed! Great work!
I wish there was an option to zoom
My 5 year old daughter has extremely low vision, therefore digital books are a great option for her. This app is enjoyable, and the effects are great - such as the realistic simulation of page turning. However, there is no way to pinch and zoom in on the words or pictures. She struggles immensely because of this, and she gets fatigued much faster than she would if she could see the words with more ease. I would be so grateful for an update that allowed for zooming in. Glasses do not help her, therefore this would give her much more independence to grow as a reader.
This is stupid
Listen I like this but it’s not a good app. When you start out you only get 6 books, SIX!! I am not a fan of this app because it has been the same thing since I was a little kid I was 3 when I had this and now I’m seven, I mean, this app is like the title of my ratting. It is stupid. I am NOT lying it is STUPID, STUPID, STUPID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I mean it.
Needs a little bit of adding
Hello, I love this app, I use it at my school but you need to add additional settings, like themes. Also I would like to see bookmarks for your books so you don’t loose track. Again I love this app, but it needs to be a little bit more perfected.
