Easily the best calculator app. I searched for a long time for a calculator that I was happy with and this was the clear winner. It’s simple yet complex to do more complicated math like set up equations and graphing. This app does it all but it’s smooth enough to be the best everyday calculator.

Let’s you work at your speed. It’s a calculator that thinks with you and isn’t afraid of the more complex stuff. Doesn’t pretend to look or feel the way most calculators do. Some apps get lucky and find a really nice way to do things. I think this is one of them. Hope it might get updated to stay current. I have an XS Max iPhone and there is a little bit of screen space left over; an update or refresh to new screen sizes would solve this, but I’ve got absolutely no regrets on this one app. I am an electrical engineer and like to keep learning. This is an app that I know I will actually use.

Calculators like Geogebra are plenty of functionalities like graph visualization, but are not as easy to use as regular ones. However, this one is easy to use AND full of features. This calculator should have more recognition for it’s quality.

This is the slickest, most innovative calculator I have on my device. Nothing can touch it in terms of usability and core functionality. If you need a calculator for highschool or college science courses, this is the one for you. The intuitive ability to quickly solve for x and y places this app head shoulders above any other calculator app out there.

Don't waste your time on the free version. Graphs are unlocked via IAP, making it a worthless download if you're looking to preview the plotter.

This is a great calculator app with a lot of features, but it would be really awesome if you could type in an equation in the calculator section, then press the poly button, and the equation will be plotted, instead of copying it, then going to the plot section, then pasting it, then displaying the equation. It would be a lot more convenient and faster. Other than that, a great app all around! A little tricky getting used to, but it's very easy once you use if for a while.

I've tried a lot of calculator apps, and Archimedes is by far the best yet. I've always felt like other calculator apps take what should be a plus and turn it into a minus, by somehow making the iPhone's touch screen harder to use than a scientific calculator. Archimedes, by contrast, is built around a touch-screen paradigm, and it's very simple to build up complex equations using its controls. I highly recommend it to anyone who's looking for "one calculator to rule them all".

Archimedes doesn't respect the setting for angle units when solving for an angle in an equation. Solving [ 2sin X - 1 = 0 ] will return X in radians even though the setting is for degrees. Otherwise, it is a very nice app, though the startup appears a little slow.

Best calculator available, significant improvement over the default. Once you get the hang of the interface, which happens quickly, you won't believe you ever did without.

This application has a great interface, and definitely am improvement over the stock app. Could really use a "favourites" feature though, so that one wouldn't have to retype some long equations every time.
