So I kickstarted the “future deck” with AR. The cards arrive today I tried to hunt for an app which in a box tells you NOTHING of where to get the app I had to hunt through heaps of kickstarter comments to finally find where to get the app which is disgusting I thought you would have like a QR code or link on a card inside the box but NOTHING it’s really poor planning there. Anyways after downloading the app I found out that it doesn’t even work with the cards it’s just a scam so far from what I can tell. Completely devastated and upset as I was really looking forward to this. The ART on the cards are incredible. The idea is amazing. And if it actually all wet would be pretty spectacular I’m so devastated that I have to give this a one star all basically a 1 out of 10.If you’re buying just the cards for the cards this would be different but because we’re buying it as this AR bundle.Then I have to go with the fact that if it doesn’t work then I didn’t get what I paid for. Completely upset and devastated. Also the open question is really badly designed.

At the moment there are a very limited number of album covers that actually work with this app there needs to be more albums that this app can interactive with especially albums like Black Parade and three cheers for sweet revenge this app has potential but it’s very limited on what it can do

Doesn’t work at all, useless app. I presume now all the tiktok videos praising it are paid adverts.

bro its been 5 years since you added new targets to your app. i understand that making those animations may take time, there is no possible way yall spend that much time to add more targets. unless yall are trying to make a massive update that add 1000 albums you can scan, you guys are just lazy

Just like everyone else is saying, there just isn’t enough art for anyone to really want this. I tried it on my album the sciences by sleep and obviously to be expected it didn’t work. I knew it wasn’t going to work but I think there should still be a way to suggest albums for artwork.

I had much much higher hopes for this than what it actually is. With AR, you usually assume 3D projected into real space via LiDAR or spatial compute. This is just playing video based on an image tracker. Not to mention the app is quite slow to download the video or for some doesn’t even register. Could have skipped the book all together and just went to the artists instagrams and viewed it through there.

Downloaded this app to use on my record collection ( I have about 45, so a wide range of genres and more “popular” albums from over time” and none of them except one were recognized. Don’t waste your time with this app if you’re looking for any album to work. I seen this on tiktok and thought it was cool; but the only album that worked is Thriller by MJ. Widen your range of albums if you want better reviews

I have an extensive record collect (close to 150) and the app only works with 3 vinyls 😕. I wish there was a library of sorts so users would know which albums work and which ones don’t.
