Armor Age: Tank Wars

I think this is a great game. I love the graphics and the realistic feel. But I really don’t enjoy how dumb the Enemy AI is. and there’s no real way to turn your tank or tell it which way to face. Sometimes if you want to charge the enemy, they go in backwards. And I also don’t really like how grindy and hard it is to get a new tank. I want to finish positively with a compliment. I absolutely love the gameplay and there’s not really any other game that gives this tactical WW2 game for free. It’s just a shame that it’s ruined by these small details that can be easily fixed.

fun game, i love the graphics and how the games set out. the old font and gold trims along with all the cool features add up to make this a great game. i love the ww2 puzzle feel, its just hard enough that you could spend hours just playing the campaign over and over again. and calling in bombing runs is such a power move! all in all a great game to play idly play.

Fake PVP, you don’t even need to be that smart to tell you are playing against bot. This is outrages given this game has been around for so long, yet developer has not improve anything about this. Plus, every gaming design around the game is to try to squeeze the last penny from players, from model of subscription (yes and it even have two subscriptions in this) to that of exclusive boxes of “rewards”. Only plus side of this game is its realistic setting and modeling, but it is useless to fool yourself playing again bot the whole time. To Developer: if you are reading this, please respond to my 1st question and let us know when you plan to bring in REAL PVP into this game

It was a decent game to begin with. But the gameplay is very unbalanced and the cost to upgrade tanks v the value and usefulness of the upgrade is ridiculous. Plus, with the latest update, they have increased those costs exponentially. Costs are up across the board. Rewards and amounts are down. The special packs also cost more now and you get less (was 1600gold for 750k now 1750g for 500k) [edit: another change. 1750g for 500k removed completely. Now it costs 2500g for 750k] So now it takes much longer to get and then upgrade any L3 tanks and upwards. I still play on the rare occasion, but I will not spend anymore real money on a game that is so blatantly trying to slow my progress and I don't care if it now takes me a month to do what used to take me a week. Was 3.5/5 now 2/5. Frustrating and irritating. [update] I continued playing without spending a cent, just to see if they really did make any improvements as they said in the comment below. No such luck, it’s worse than ever. PVP is 90% against bots named Alex or have much higher experience and tank levels than their own personal level, which is 100% impossible, even if you spend real money on everything. Tanks are useless. They don’t travel in a straight line. They run backwards and are too slow to react to commands. Free cool down times and free boosters have been cut to ridiculous levels. To get better tanks you need blueprints. They are like hens teeth. To get the better tanks you need 30 and then 60 blueprints for each. Times that by how often you get the ones you need, you’re looking at it taking around 3-5 years of free play before you get the purple tanks and upwards of 6 years to get all the Orange ones. You’ll play the same 4 or 5 maps tens of thousands of times. You’ll play the cheating bots in useless tournaments thousands of times. That’s the complete truth of it. Sad really and a massive missed opportunity by the developers. [update3] Yet another update that has removed even more free boosts and made it ever more difficult to get better tanks, earn more silver or to get the boosters. Not without spending literally hundreds of dollars. And the gameplay is no better. Tanks travel from A to B obliquely instead of in a straight line. Tanks shoot their own side and don’t fire at the enemy automatically. Send a tank to destroy the enemy and it will turn around and drive backwards, in a circle first, before finding the enemy with its most vulnerable side exposed. The whole game is blatantly de

If you don’t mind the occasional cheater who get the cheat from Utube and others. It really is a good game, that is if you can tolerate a cheater once in a while that sets you back a lot in your ratings and basically wastes your time, I feel kind of sad for those who invested money into this game as a cheater just makes it all a waste of money, cheaters are low lives.

This is the game I would like to practise my strategy while having fun! You’ll have to make wise choices wether you need the tanks to have an upgrade or not. But overall, super addictive!
