Army Leader's Book (LB) is designed to keep track of your Soldiers' important, but non-sensitive, information in order to better lead them and maintain their readiness. LB can track your Soldiers' APFT/ACFT, Weapons, Body Composition, Training and MedPros dates and data. You can track absences and LB automatically calculates your daily PERSTAT.

With all this information, security is certainly a concern. LB uses a Google cloud database service called Firestore to store the data. Firestore has an impeccable record for data security and encrypts data en route to the server and on the server as well. LB also has additional security rules so only you can see your data. That being said, it is important that you get permission from your Soldiers (and have them sign a Privacy Act Statement) to input their information in LB and don't put any more information than they are comfortable with. The only required fields in all of LB are Rank and Last Name.
A premium subscription is available for $1.99 per year that allows you to upload information via Excel files, download data to PDF to help build a hard-copy leader's book, and removes ads.

This is a good app to help you keep track with sm appointments and hr metrics this app does more than that as well but you will have to explore it yourself. Plus it’s free!!!!!
Great Tool
One thing to make this a 5 Star is to be able to upload PDF docs with the premium subscription.
Love this helps me manage my squad
It’s a great tool, I love using it to create new soldiers personal data sheets on my phone then I print to pdf and print them at home for their binders. I also track the squads ACFT average, perstat and appointments.
Missing Valuable Feature(s)
Needs to be interactive between leaders and subordinates; subordinates should be able to update their leave, medpros updates with verified proof, and it’ll automatically notify the leader(s.) This will eliminate any grey area and increase continuity between the team/squad/platoon.
Very useful for Army leaders!

Great app and very helpful!
I’ve had this app for the past half year and it has since improved a lot. I like that it has all of the major details needed of a Soldier. Now, when it comes to design the app is good; however, I have iPhone and if I turn on “Dark Mode” in the app it’ll make all text black making it really hard to read. So, a light color font would be a great fix.
Everything looks great but
There should be a way to create a group and allow leaders to just be able to edit singular items instead of sharing. There may be. Also, iPhone for changing dates is a little wonky but otherwise the app works out great. Kudos to whomever made this.
