Don’t trust negative reviews for Artfol. The devs are working hard and it’s such a great interactive app for artists!

This app is great!! everyone is very friendly and supportive!! It really feels like a community, being able to make friends all of whom share a passion for art. There is however a few issues, with the influx of users it does get occasionally get laggy and there has been a large amount of reports of bots sending inappropriate links. But other than that is it brilliant!

i love how this is an art only app, where we can share photos of our creations. so far a few people have seen my art, but mainly my text posts gets more views. however, there’s so many bugs it’s hard to enjoy my experience. a lot of the times the app kicks me out and i have to go in to perform the action i want too. the app is also very slow.

The logout button doesn’t work, everything else does though. I have to completely uninstall the app to log out. Other than that, good app for artists. Found another bug. I can’t change my featured posts. They’re all outdated and I can’t remove them or swap them. I think it’s an iPad problem. I tried on my siblings iPad, same issues. The web version doesn’t let you search things. I could type “horse” and it would say “no results for “”. “ as if I never typed anything

i wish there was an option to be able to scroll through all the works on a page and also like them without having to open a second tab, like how instagram and tumblr and most other social medias do i know the following page does, but i wish the explore did too

It would be so useful if you could put multiple pages for the commission pages, not to mention multiple pages for posts.

This app is genuinely great for artists. There is such a good community and i almost never see anything negative. Everyone is very encouraging and supportive to each other. Love that there isn’t a size limit on the art you can post. There is no algorithm, which gives everyone’s art a chance to be seen, and likes are mostly hidden. There is a dedicated section to asking for critiques, and a place where people can create challenges, which can be awesome for art block. There are also content warning filters you can use on your own art or to censor any art you might be uncomfortable with, which you can remove if you want to see the art. There are bugs somewhat often and the app isn’t the fastest, but the devs are very open and responsive to communication about any bugs or problems in the app. The app is fairly new-ish so I’m assuming there’s more to come, but even so it’s awesome so far. If you’re an artist i definitely recommend checking out this app, the community is so supportive and it’s nice to be able to post art without feeling the frustration of having to try to appeal to an algorithm. It takes away the competition and makes it more of a community. Really awesome, highly recommend!

Ok so it’s been almost a month since I used artfol and I gotta say, I freaking LOVE the app. Most social media platforms discourages artists from making a shine for recognition since most platforms encourages unoriginal content. And the censorship is awesome too! I’ve been tryna find a platform that wasn’t toxic where I could post more explicit drawings, but they either supported AI art, or just an extremely toxic app. I am thankful I found this app through instagram, I have never been grateful! I wish to continue using this app and see the app progress through growth

Love this app as an artist. The layout of both the entire interface UX is great and the customizing for your profile is awesome. But it’s still a fairly new app and there are bugs that crawl out now and then. I do with there were a way to block seeing reposts, there are some users that repost every single post that clogs up my feed. But other than that I’m in love with Artfol
