I had high hopes, but it seriously underdelivered. For an app promising to enhance pronunciation, it falls short, offering little value for the time and money invested. Disappointing experience overall.

I had been using Articulation Station Pro in English for years and was so disappointed not to have a comparable option in Spanish for my Spanish-speaking clients. I was thrilled when Little Bee created this product. I was also skeptical because so many Spanish language products are poorly done. But this one is OUTSTANDING!!! Little Bee is so thorough and thoughtful with all of their products. I believe I have tried out every other Spanish articulation app and this is the best!
I already own Articulation Station in English so I was so happy to use it in Spanish. 100% of my caseload is bilingual Spanish-English students. I really like the pictures, the ease with which I could use it with multiple students, the recording feature and how the data was easily accessible. The words were culturally appropriate and useful. It was really nice that diphthongs and vowels were included as that's not something I've seen in other Spanish artic apps. My students enjoy recording themselves and the ability to score their productions. - Liz Pyatskowit
If you are a bilingual SLP, the Spanish version of Little Bee Speech is an App that you will find extremely useful. The vocabulary, pictures and features like keeping record of scores are easy and practical to use. I love the immediate feedback you can mail the parents. Can't wait for the Spanish testing version. I am more than in love with this app. I have the English version since I first started my practice as an SLP. It was a super-wonderful-magnificent help to work with all my students with Articulation and Phonology disorders when I was a school-based SLP. I remember being on Little Bee Speech's booth at ASHA convention in Orlando and talking to someone that told me that you will probably develop a Spanish version. I was so excited at that time...and when I received the e-mail talking about a beta version... I FLIPPED!!! I work as a home health SLP and the majority of my patients are Spanish-speaking and I obviously need this for my kids. Great job Little Bee Speech!
I absolutely love this app my students also enjoy looking at the realistic pictures. The best part is that I can store and keep that on each student.
As a Speech-language pathologist working with children coming from South America, Central America, the Caribbean and South Florida I am always looking for functional apps for my Spanish speaking patients. I am very pleased with the Articulation Station Español for the following reasons: -The design of the app and the pictures that were picked for each target item are visually appealing and appropriate for my clients, which is something I have not seen on all the other apps in Spanish that I own. -I enjoy the versatility of the app as you can work on different phonemes in a variety of contexts (initial, medial, final positions; at the word, phrase and sentence level; on flash cards and as a matching game). -On many apps I own that are in Spanish the voice that was selected for the app is not clear or has a strong accent which can create a speech perception problem for my patients who are Hard-of-Hearing. The voice on this app is clear and does not distract from the task. I would recommend this app to all speech-language pathologists who work with children who speak Spanish. Two recommendations: I would love if you included a sound association repertoire for each vocalic and consonant phoneme (such the phonemes of the Ling sounds) so as to monitor the phonemic repertoire of kids who have a hearing loss. I would also recommend including dialectical variations as the population I work with uses many different ways of labeling items. For example on my caseload I have children that use the following words for the word "banana" in Spanish: banana, banano, cambur, platano, guineo . It may seem trivial but when you are coaching parents to develop listening and spoken language skills in their newborn you want to make sure you support the acquisition of the dialect used at home. ¡Recomiendo esta app que es excelente a todas las fonoaudiólogas / logopedas hispanohablantes !
