Artifact: Feed Your Curiosity

I love it

It was a great app. I will miss it so much.

I’m a newsjunkie, and has used several rss-readers over the years. But Artifact is something new, a different, more social and fin way to discover great newsstories. Keep up the great work!

Collects tons of data, wants to link it with data from Facebook and Google, no way to opt out. Keeps nudging you toward giving it access to your contacts, big red flag. Cheap tricks like gamification. Come on people, it's not 2013. Also, covering employees and users in the same privacy policy? Are you trying to confuse your users? Anyway, steer clear.

Really loving the app, but every time I pick my phone up from my pocket it is showing the “give feedback” screen due to the shake gesture being triggered. Please remove this gesture, or at least make it an option, as it is rather infuriating to have an extra tap to dismiss the feedback screen every time I open the app. Otherwise it’s great! 👍

It works overall but I really need more settings: • Always open article in Read mode • Always show AI Summary on top • Turn off “Shake to send feedback” The Read Mode needs some love, often it cuts out last half of articles if there is an ad in the middle. Keep on the good work.
