Used to be a huge fan but it’s glitchy since recent update
I started using Asana to manage my own task list. Then extended to my team. And I introduced the free version for the charity i volunteer for. Buuuut recently the iPhone app has been glitchy and won’t save new tasks. It’s so frustrating and renders it almost useless day to day. What’s happened?!

I preferred the old default open screen
Good features on free tier, but the new update changes the default open screen to some generic welcome page. I want it to open straight to my project (should allow user to specify)
Really enjoyable layout and use
I’ve been using Asana for 2 years. Had to switch to another similar app for work reasons but Asana always wins
How useful is it
It is quite good for remembering stuff!
Widgets Broken
Not terrible, but a bit too fiddly to navigate on an iPhone and not ideal for quickly adding tasks. Some very basic customisation is missing - such as choosing where you land on app launch, and it seems like an insane omission that you can’t select an option for the badge icon to show the number of outstanding tasks for that day. I think this must be the only project/task app in the world that doesn’t have that! The most recent update seems to be buggy as all of the widgets are completely blank, so are currently useless 🤷
Really disappointing app
I initially loved the UI of this app. However, once you start getting into the details you realise that i just doesn’t work as one would expect. Goals as project just doesn’t work for me when i have teams that could be delivering into many goals. You are then left with a choice leave or stay and change the way that you work. Shame! I will keep an eye on the app and hope that in the future it because more internally integrated.

Gold dust for multitaskers
This app has been so helpful for managing multiple projects I am involved with whilst keeping it all timely and accessible… access for up-to 15 team members FOR FREE.. absolutely wonderful for my charity work! Communications / uodates regarding any particular are in one place so we don’t get lost in other chat worlds scrolling up and down messages… brilliant !
