ASI Snakes

Such a Great addition to a Smartphone when you need the information / images quickly. And good first aid and other info. I couldn’t use the species ID if I did not have a data connection…perhaps I need to open and “download” every one into the cache so I can use the app remotely?

Does not update. So app does not work on ios 16.3.1

Great app, but it’s quite likely that when you need it there may be no signal. An offline version would be fantastic!

I find the snake section to be spot on but some of the information on the spider side is inaccurate and outdated

Not sure why but it doesn’t keep the snake profiles in the cache. So everytime you open it you have to download new images. This makes it useless in the bush when there is no signal.

Great app really recommend it the app helps a lot and I even became a snake catcher

I app that every South African should have.

A great, high-quality and free app by somebody that is clearly doing this as a labour of love for the subject.

Could someone please help! Every time I go into the App, i can select a species but then the App closes before it opens the selection. I can’t get information for handlers in areas either. I’ve deleted and reloaded the app a few times but it keeps on closing.
