Aspen Learning Library

I downloaded this app because it was the only aspen option that came up in the App Store. I am not able to log in with the same account I use online and I cannot access my ebooks. What is the point of ebooks that only work when you have an internet connection from a laptop / desktop. Waste of time and money.

When I attempt to read downloaded books in the App, the books open with gibberish. The content just appears as a random string of letter and numbers.

As much as I love having the physical copies of books in hand to feel, notate, and dissect diagrams in…having access to the electronic resources through this app have been time saving and useful when creating my outlines. Thx Aspen!

Not user friendly but helpful content.

The app offers quick tutorials on how to navigate within the app. The ability to download the resources to use for the on-the-go law student is extremely helpful.

I’m happy I decided to save a tree and purchase the online textbook for constitutional law because the videos were so helpful with my understanding and context of cases!

The online portal and the off-line portal are so slow that I usually use other sources rather than this one although this one has the most information because it’s such a pain to

When you download an ebook it does not stay on your device. Every time you access the app, you have to redownload the ebook. There is no way to separate downloaded materials from all the general books they have available. There is no way to make your own book shelf with the books of your choice. The shelf category has every book on the app, there is no organization.

I have this app on my iPad and found it very easy to access helpful law school supplements. I preferred reading on my iPad much better than on my computer monitor. The highlighting and bookmark features were especially helpful so I could easily come back to where I left off. Highly recommend!

As a law student, I use this app everyday. Instead of having to carry all bunch of textbooks and supplemental readings, I can just use this app when preparing for class and during class. You can create shelves so that it’s easier to navigate. Great app!!
