AsuraComic - Top Manga Reader

I was hoping the app would have added features, like chapter bookmarking or tap to scroll but alas.. this is actually worse than the browser since ad blocking doesn’t work :( HOWEVER it is good to compile just the titles you enjoy, and find new things to read. But again, there are websites better suited to do this such as MU, MAL, AP etc.

This is a problem I have with asura scans on web browsers as well, but there are way too many pop up ads and redirecting ads. It’s extremely inconvenient when I’m in the middle of reading and suddenly I’m redirected to another webpage telling me I have a virus, can claim a brand new iPhone, or whatever stupid scam pages are out there. It’s really unfortunate because asura scans has some of the better translations on the internet. If it wasn’t for the amount of ads that pop up at all times, this would be one of my top apps/websites to read from.

Gave me a screen where it said my phone had been hacked?

Not sure why, but the app doesn’t even open. Completely unusable. Hope there’s some progress to fix and improve it, until then I’ll just be using the website.

App is great at first. You can find manga you want to read but when you bookmark your manga and access the bookmark tab & you want to pick back up where you left the chapters don’t appear when you select the manga. Same with the history tab. So you have to search again to continue reading. Very inconvenient. Once that’s fixed. App will be better.

Still incredibly slow, once you get a few downloads going, it crashes and suddenly you can’t access any of your downloads. The ads are incredibly invasive and half the time I’m waiting for an ad to load before I can actually navigate the app. Overall the download feature is terrible and really needs to be reworked because honestly I hav no other reason to use the app.

The website is better, there are too many bugs to where nothing will load or whatever I click on the chapters won’t load.

I really like this app but since I updated it it doesn’t want to load anymore I can’t even open the app. Need this fixed asap

I can continuously read the stories I want

If there’s one thing I can suggest to improved quality of life of the app, it’s just implementing a last chapter read/continue from last chapter button when reading manga within the app.
