Lives up to its promises
I‘ve now made 9 transactions using Atlantic and it’s been working well. Both with regards to my money safely arriving at its destination and with regards to customer support. It takes a bit of getting used to and more focus compared to a traditional transfer. Once the transfer has been ordered, payment must be made within a narrow timeframe (an hour I think) so as to guarantee the exchange rate that was quoted. Should one get distracted at this crucial point and forget to make the payment, one pays quite dearly from what I‘ve read. 3 days seems slow for the transfer but that’s what is quoted and adhered to as long as the transfer is made earlier in the day. Customer support has always been quick - within the limited opening hours of 9-5 Mo - Fr. All in all it’s going to save me a significant amount in fees and I’m grateful for that!
