Audi connect plug and play

Good concept but is buggy and temperamental. After the latest update, now it is unable to do either automatic or manual backup. This is after the issue where it could not connect to the servers, the latest update fixed that but now data backup feature stops working.

What’s the point of backing up your data if you can’t restore it to your device? And since the latest update, the backup isn’t working anyway!

I’m not sure as an owner this is beneficial

Like almost all other reviews I could see here, I’ve found this app stopped being useful a few months ago. Whether it’s IOS updates or app updates, it is useless having to re-establish the connection or supply pairing and user details over and over. My idea is to look at the app only when I get a refill. Then I want to enter the refill data, review trips, and move on. Audi- have you taken on something that is too complicated for you?

Every time there is an update or at least my experience is that this app will always need repairing to my dongle. When I launch the app and after repairing it will never have the last many trips I have completed with my car. Such a waste of time.

Like many others reviewing, the app stopped working after an update in October. So they’ve provided some updates which did fix partly the syncing issues, however it doesn’t connect automatically like before and provide the trip information. This needs fixing!

I’m not really seeing any benefit with it, and it’s quite annoying having to manually connect your phone to the app each and every time you use the vehicle

This app requires frequent login’s and plug & play USB code far too often. Just about on the verge of deleting the app and pulling the USB

The app is broken…doesn’t show past trips, distance driven etc and need reconnecting since the October version “upgrade”. Please fix or revert to earlier version which worked fine. Might as well delete the app otherwise.
