UPDATE: Recent update has resolved IAA zombie process issue and removed incessant "continue" button. Initial app launch is still slow (trying to phone home?), and highly inappropriate identity trackers still exist. Even so, an improvement from before. OLD: My my... They've actually managed to make it worse... After years without any usability improvements and few bug fixes, this new patch introduces an incessant "continue" button on the boot splash instead of just launching the interface as before, as well as breaks IAA even further (now they launch as zombie processes, requiring manual intervention or even reboot). Worst of all, IT NOW CONTAINS TRACKERS.

Amazing! Makes the iPad worth buying as it turns it into a multi fix processor & MIDI machine! About to use it with my mini brute 2! Works great!

Love this app for adding layers to vocals, guitar and really any other instruments. I’m using an old iPhone XS on my guitar pedalboard and using it live with no issues. With my Quad Cortex, Nano Cortex, Kemper and HX Stomp it’s fantastic as a host for multiple programs and midi hub for all of them. Love this app. ❤️❤️

I was a user from when this app first appeared, and for the first couple of years it was fantastic …. BUT.. it’s been getting buggier and buggier since, and I can’t remember the last time I used it and it worked the way it was supposed to. Take today’s session for example, I try to load an app into the input. Fails. I have to relaunch the app. Fails. Then I have to restart the entire iPad. Then it finally launches but says it might not perform properly. I select Aurea as my output, and when I launch it, wipes clean everything from the project I was working on, all tracks disappeared! Unbelievable. Fortunately I had a back up. I finally get it recording into Auria, but I have to work on the iPad internal speakers because it won’t recognize my Bluetooth speaker, no sound comes out, ever. So do my recording, go to close the app, and it glitches out and creates a giant volume surge out of the iPad speakers, not great for my tinnitus. Way to go, beginning to end an unpleasant experience. Deleted for good this time.

So, audiobus doesn't work with cubasis 3? I wish I'd known that before I bought it. I don't understand why these apps don't work with software that's newer than the stuff that they worked with four years ago. I read something about audiobus not being able to communicate with cubasis 3? That's just great… Love him doesn't communicate huh?

May apps communicate!

Audiobus seems to have set the standard for audio routing on IOS and recent experiences confirm that it is a powerful audio and midi app routing/mixing tool. However I've had to work my way around bugs such as latency, weird feedback sounds or no sound at all from apps, when recording from Elastic drums into Loopy for example.Seems to suffer from less issues and latency when using only one or two audio app lines at a time. I appreciate the fact that it must be quite hard to interface with so many apps though.
