need to pay a subscription fee to resume play
In order to save the location of the audio, you were listening to to use it as an audiobook player you need to pay a subscription fee!
Why do you need to pay a sub fee for a basic feature like that? Bookplayer will do it better for free. if you need to slow down the playback of a song, this might be the app for you, but I need it to play audiobooks so for me, it was useless and I found it irritating that it required a subscription based annual payment for such a basic app.
Great app for students
I use the app for taking notes from my recorded classes and it’s amazing. You can mark specific times and you won’t have difficulties finding where you left at. You can also change the speed from 0.5 to 2.00. Fun fact: as i tapped to write a review, i saw a previously-written review from years ago when i started college (now I’m using it for university) lol. It’s a proof how great this app is!
Great but missing a key factor
I love this app, way better than the more popular Amazing Slowdowner: having the whole time line with set cues works so much better than whatever the Slowdowner had going on...
HOWEVER there is one pretty irritating bug: if I leave the app for a second, say, to check start a time for my practice, the app will have already cleared its cache (or however it stores short term data) so I'll be searching and loading the song I want to open in Audipo EVERY time I open it back up, even after just a second outside of the app (and it's still running in the background).
If it weren't for this, it would be a5 star review, and I'll def change it to that if that changes. Cheers to this great app!
No Pitch shift even in pro
Bought pro for pitch shift because an article suggested this app for that function. Turns out this version doesn’t have that feature and now I’m out $7.50

Good stuff
Works but forgets your location
Every time you leave pause the audio and bring another app to the front, it forgets your play position as if you closed the app and reopened it. It’s nonsense. It shouldn’t refresh itself when it’s still active in the background. I’m assuming this is built into the app so you pay for the ‘resume’ playback feature. Creating a fix where there was no issue.
The refresh issue seems very similar to when you leave your Facebook app for a minute and it reloads when you go back to it.
The other features are good for me. I use this for audio books. I needed a way to speed up the speech.
Really good but need adjustments
To make me pay for the pro, it needs :
- an option to change the pitch
- an option to download the song/share it via email/text/iCloud, etc.
