the fact that the app needs an internet connection every time you open it to determine that you made the in-app purchase is just plain bad. I paid for the app and don't want to be online all the time. especially since I need a WiFi connection every time, which I don't have when I'm on the go. so the app is quite limited in terms of mobility. please fix that, because otherwise the app is just great.

Audulus is a class of its own. Incredibly sounding. Version 4 comes with exciting new modules and features, and lots of beautifully crafted presets to give you new ideas. Since I found the presets within seconds I don’t understand the 1-star-review. Certainly, this app requires an explorative mindset not everyone has, but thankfully, you can try before you buy. If you‘ve ever been sorry you missed the experimental, preset-free stage of early 70s sound design with its analog modular Synths, and if you find their virtual iOS versions are not quite the same (and you lack the cash for vintage or contemporary modular hardware), here‘s your chance of digging deep with the tools of our times.

There seem to be no presets. There is nothing to play or hear… If this needs the patching upgrade why deliver a non-functioning free version??? It would be better to just release a paid full version. As demo version useless…

All is right in the Audulus universe once again. I’ve been using this app for years, since version 3. It’s incredible to see the amount of effort put into version 4 which delivers an even richer and more satisfying creative experience, more modules to work with, improved workflow and a beautifully overhauled UI.

This app is absolutely incredible and gives you all the tools you need to make literally any part of a synth if you want to get that involved. also an active community of people making patches so even if you just bought it to play with patches posted online, you’ve got virtually endless synths to play with.

This was unfair. I was simply frustrated after dropping 20 bucks, expecting to play with something cool. I'm gonna give them a chance to fix things. As a developer myself, I fully understand the challenges. I just really want to use the app!! Original text: Just purchased the app. When I open, I get a black screen. That's it. My ipad is up to date. What gives? Really hoping the developers are responsive. I'll update my review if they fix this right away.

Opens to the file browser, no modules, nothing. Tried deleting and reinstalling, nothing. It worked in the past and I liked it, hope I can figure this out.

It’s wayyyyy better than max/msp and costs a tiny fraction of the price. This app is truly a gift.

This is a great app with a lot of manual controls that enable users to produce tha sound they want and are looking for. My only issue is, great work on tha Shepards tone btw, my only issue is that if u already aren’t familiar with sound construction this app can be intimidating and complex and may appear a bit scattered. Not for noobies. But if ur already familiar with sound design, this is fantastic and I do recommend. Thank you for building an incredible workstation.
