This app worked well. Now it won’t work unless I log in or create an account, but it won’t let me log in or create an account. Just another useless app in the list I guess. It does not show a cost in the App Store just the “open” button.

The app works pretty well and usually gets the key right. But I noticed when I was testing it that it doesn’t seem to be able to recognize modes other than major and natural minor. It will give you a key that has the same number of flats or sharps, but with the wrong starting note. For example, I tested it with a song in Bb Dorian, and it told me that it was Ab Major. Other than that, it works just fine.

I really like this app

It would be great if we could use this app without having to login or create an account. I just need a simple app that detects key, and this app does that well, most of the time. While using the app, I click to detect key and now forced to create an account to continue using 1 simple feature. No thanks, why do you need my full name, email everything else for a key detection program?

This is exactly what I needed, Although some may say its “inaccurate” I disagree I think its pretty accurate considering its an external microphone from your phone. I produce music and this has helped me so much, I love it.
