Really good tool for construction. Amazing actually. Would be even better if it allowed me to email RFIs direct from the app or add attachments direct also. Cheers.

Every time I switch to another app for a second ACC leaves my work in progress and goes back to the Home Screen and requires me to sync. I tried sync the app on my iPad and it was 64 GB! It completely filled up my iPad then asked me to still sync again later. It’s impossible to do anything useful on the app. Formatting for tables doesn’t fit the whole title, even on the desktop.

I’ve used PlanGrid for a while, I am a Project Engineer along with a good understanding of computer programming, scripting, etc etc. I will have to say this App is just absolutely absurd with the amount of background activity it’s performing or whatever it’s doing, to the point where I’m convinced this is a farming app. It’s done nothing but gotten worse. I have background app refresh off, I use the iPad Air M1, that is fairly new as I had it replaced 2-3 months ago. Just today, I get into work, open the app view my surveys. It claims the app was on screen for 5 hours, which is not true at all, if anything, maybe 2 hours on screen, with 18 minutes in the background, using 69% of my battery. The reason I know the screen time is incorrect, is because my iPad auto locks after 1 minute, along with how my day went today. I notice often that this simple app, simply makes my iPad fairly warm also, even with it locked. If I close the app, my iPad can just sit in my bag on 100% all day with no use, even opening up my iPad the next day and seeing 99%. If I leave the app open, my iPad will be dead in around 8 hours times. Again App refresh is fully disabled. There is obviously some issue, and it needs to be fixed.

When using the app in the field to find issues the map is sluggish or does not work at all. If I want to find an issue I’m assigned as a watcher on there is no filter on the app for that function.

After the latest update, this app is slower than molasses in the winter time. Please fix!! Even more worthless after the July 15 update. App randomly adds pics to locations on the daily report. I used to be able to select a certain location on the job site and add pics about that specific location. Now the app adds all of my job site pics to all locations. Very frustrating!!! ProCore was 10x better than whatever this is tryin to be.

I used to be a big fan of PlanGrid and have not been using it for about four years. Coming back to using it I am shocked at how bad it’s gotten. Some of the features are incredibly frustrating to use whether you’re on a phone or on a PC. It is constantly failing to upload something is simple as text. there was a time when PlanGrid was the best way to view plans digitally, but there are now other software. I feel much better for that too.

Cannot share documents from the app or perform admin functions. Essentially useless.

App works OK, and it’s worth having, but I am disappointed that I can’t do basic management tasks to ACC projects or the account on it. Frankly, my phone is not the place to look at the model, but it sure would be handy if I could update someone’s permissions while on the go. Just got a request to add a couple of detailers and give them access to the Clod Workshared model in Docs and I had to get the laptop and hotspot out. Seems much easier to implement that than the LMV on iOS.

It’s a very useful app I wish it was more tools to be able to build my own designs but other than that I give it a ten out of ten
